The Office of Special Services Mission:
The Special Services Department's mission is to identify children with disabilities and provide a free and appropriate education for them as prescribed by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
The staff of the Special Services Department believe that all students can learn skills that will enhance the quality of their lives regardless of developmental disabilities, socio-economic status, race, gender, or cultural considerations. Our purpose is to provide a safe and caring environment that supports the acquisition of knowledge. Our partnership with parents and community enables students to meet their potential.
Our department is composed of highly effective pre-referral interventionists, related service providers, special education teachers, and para-professionals to ensure students with disabilities are provided the opportunity to succeed according to an individualized educational program.

Child Find
The Child Find program helps to "find" children who may have a delay in development or a disability. Our goal is to provide early intervention and special education services for eligible children. If you know of a child who might need services, please contact your school. There is no cost for the program.
